Riley wa fasinaed by Cleo's story Riley tried to remmember that last time he had a really family time, he desided to count out the the last time he saw his dad because his falmily didn't really talk much then. Riley shook his head and desided to forget about it. He turned his attention back to Cleo. " So, what do you want to do know??" Riley was enjoying the time he spent with Cleo, it made him feel nomal and let him forget bout all the bad stuff that was after him.
"Cleo?" Riley asked suddenly "Do you want to come over to my house tomorrow?" Riley was egger to show Cleo were he lived so that he could stop by whenever he wanted to. "I can give you directons, or meet you here at a set time." Riley hoped he wasn't being too pushy. He really wanted to have a friend that he could have over to dinner and to go shopping with. Shopping, that gave Riley an idea. "Do you want to go to the Cafe to get a snack with me?" Riley asked he loved to eat almost as much as he loved to read.
Riley stood up and offered a hand to Cleo to help him up "I'll buy, you can have anything you want." Riley had alot of money because Ken gave him an alowance for mowing the lawn and doing the didhes every nihjt and Riley never really buys anything so he had a couple hundred dollars saved up from the past three years." What do you say??"

Cleo really didn't think that he had any questions to ask Riley. He really didn't want to know anymore. And why should he? He didn't need to know Riley's life story, he just really wanted to hear what being a demon was like, and he had already learned that. Cleo didn't want to be nosy, he knew what happened to nosy people. He knew all to well, thanks to Charles' soap operhas. They would have to testify in court, get shot and be hunted down for knowing too much. Cleo shudder. He did not want that to happen. Cleo looked up at Riley and took his hand. He slowly pulled himself up and got to his feet.
Cleo thought about Riley's idea, but he wasn't really hungry. "Sorry Riley, but I'm really not that hungry." Cleo looked at his watch. "And the time is getting pretty late. I mean it's already ten!?" Cleo started to panic. "Oh geeze peas!" He exclaimed. "I'm sorry Riley! But I got to go! I have some shows of mine coming on! I can't miss them, there the season fanialies." Cleo dusted himself off. "But I'll gladly come visit you tomorrow!" Cleo smiled. "I have absolutely nothing to do tomorrow." Cleo knew that he was terrible at following directions, but maybe if he Map Quested it, he could find it easily.
Cleo grabbed onto Riley's hand, "Come on! I'd like for you to walk me halfway home at least. That way we can still talk before we have part." Cleo pulled Riley out of the park and onto the hard sidewalk. "Here," Cleo pulled out a small note book and a miniature pencil and handed them off to Riley. "If you can write down directions on how to get from this park to your house. I easily know how to get to the park, and if I start form there, I don't think I'll get lost." Cleo stretched out his arms. "Anyway, I'd like to know, do you like being a demon?"

Riley had no problem walking Cleo home. He knew the City like the back of his had and was no worried about getting lost on his way home. "Cleo, if you know where the train station is my house is directly behind it. Just over the hill on the other side of the tracks." Riley had to walk fast too keep up with Cleo. He was usually a really slow walker, he liked to look around as he walked so any speed above his seemed really fast to him. " If you don't know how to get to the station from the park you have to go down the street to Main street and walk through the down town core. when you get to the station cut through it and walk around the hill on the other side of the tracks we are about half way up the hill on the side facing away from the station.
Riley hoped that the directions were easy enough to follow, he was not sure of street names and was never really good at printing neatly so he was a little sloppy with his hand writing. " Do you understand the directions Cleo?" Riley had to run to catch up to were Cleo was, he had stopped to write the directions and when he looked up Cleo was way in front of him. "You asked how I liked being a demon, I guess it is not so bad." Riley had never thought about it before but the quite liked being a demon. " I enjoy the powers I get from being one, although the hunting I could do with out. Between hunters and Warlocks I have a really good chance of getting killed or worse captured and controlled by a Warlock." Riley shuttered at the thought of being controlled, he didn't like it when Ken told him what do do not to mention so Warlock that he had never really met. "I guess all in all it is not a bad life to have, at least I'm alive."
"Do you like being a human?" Riley could not really remember being human he had forgotten what it was like to not have any powers and to not have complete control over emotions and small stuff like that. "Do you ever wish you were something else?" Riley hoped his questions were not too personal. As Riley looked around he realized he had not been in the part of town they were in, in a long time. He usually stay near to the Station and the Library. That fact that he was near the park was mere coincidence because he tries to stay in heavily populated areas.

Cleo listened carefully to Riley's instructions but still didn't understand his directions. Cleo had a natic for not understanding any kind of direction or map. He had also never realized how fast a walker he was until he had to wait for Riley to Catch up to him. Cleo smiled at his new found friend. He had never met anyone like him before. He had met sad creatures who wanted nothing to do with humans and he had found pure evil creatures. But Riley was different. He was like an average kid. Cleo had only ever met another strange creature, which was Das. Das was like a dog, happy and care free.
Cleo listened to Riley as he explained the perks and downfalls of being a demon. Cleo had to agree with everything Riley said. Being hunted must suck, but having powers rock! But, Cleo wasn't prepared for Riley's question. "Do I like being a human?"
Cleo stopped in his tracks and stuck his thumb to his chin. He looked up into the sky and blinked quite a few times. "That's a silly question!" Cleo laughed.
Cleo jumped up into the air. "I hate being human!" Cleo exclaimed. His voice echoed and bounced off near by buildings. Cleo took a deep breath of air in, "If I was anything other then human, then people would probably understand more, why I see things that they cannot! Humans are boring! They can't fly, cast magic, do funky things and the get hurt too easily! Humans are also too ignorant to see they magical world around them. Their clouded eyes are too weak for the truth!" Cleo started to pant, thus ending his rant.
Cleo shook his head a few times, "Well, let's continue." Cleo gathered up his strength and marched on. The one thing Cleo did like about being human, was that even in the darkest of situations, humans are too stubborn to give up for good. Cleo turned a corner and found himself on his street. "Welcome to Fisher Drive! My street!" Cleo continued to walked down, admiring all the houses. All of his neighbors took pride in making the outside and the inside of their house look good.
Cleo stopped in front of an old styled house. Old old on the sides with the house covered in red brick. The windows were large and spacious, and the roof was black and slippery slated with a chimney on top. "Well this is my house! Thanks for hanging out with me! I really appreciate you becoming friends with me!" Cleo was about to turn the doorknob when a light bulb went off in his head. Cleo quickly turned back around and looked Riley right in the eyes. "Say.... why don't you come in for a bit? Then maybe you could this family life you think I have." Cleo smiled. "And maybe, if your up for it, and if Charles says it's okay. Then maybe you could sleep over! What'd ya say?"

Riley thought about Cleo's offer, he did like to spend time with Cleo but he also felt that he was a little too old for sleep overs. Then again, he also though he was too old for tag but he played that anyway. "You know what, a sleepover might be fun. As long as it is okay with you parents and with Ken." Riley was looking forward to meeting Cleo's family.
As they walked toward Cleo's door the wind seemed to warm up. The sun was almost set and the sky was pink and yellow, riley felt most at peace during this time of day, he closed his eyes and listened to the sounds that were around him, althiugh the thing he hear loudist was the sound of Cleo walking beside him. "We should ask about the sleeo overt right away so that I will have time to walk home and ask Ken and get my stuff before it gets too dark." Riley didn't want to seem too pushy but if he left it to long tring to get home would become too dangerous.
Riley admire the house, he was so used to his house that this one looked absolutily gorgious. Riley lived in a two room, one story hut as he called it. Ken didn't have a lot of money but they made due. "Wow cleo, your house is really nice, Have you live here you whole life or did you move here after living somewhere else?

Cleo smiled and grabbed onto Riley's hand, "Come on! Don't worry. Charles and William are nice." Cleo pushed open the front door and pulled Riley in. Cleo kicked of his shoes and he heard a familiar voice from the kitchen. "Cleooooo!" It called. "Is that you darling?"
Cleo ran into the kitchen and found Charles cleaning the stove. "Charles!!!" Cleo exclaimed and attached himself to Charles hips. "I'm sorry I ran off without telling you!" Cleo apologized. Charles patted Cleo's head and smiled. "Don't worry about that Cle-cle." Charles laughed. It also seemed that Cle-cle was Cleo's nick name. Charles pulled Cleo off his hips and set him aside. "Cleo," Charles put his arms on Cleo shoulders. It was really weird since Cleo was only a few inches from Charles height, yet Cleo was like a little kid. "Did you bring someone home with you?" Charles asked nicely and Cleo nodded. "May I meet him?" Cleo nodded again and grabbed onto Charles hand.
Cleo pulled Charles out of the kitchen and showed his new found friend off to Charles. Charles smiled. "Well it's nice to meet you, my name is Charles," Charles titled his head to the side. He was slender and was wearing dark skinny jeans and a white dress shirt. His short brown hair was tied tightly up at the back of his head and his face was filled with happiness. "This is Riley, Charles, Riley." Cleo said happily. "Charles..." Cleo questioned, swinging his hips from side to side.
"Yes Cleo?" Charles asked, still smiling. "Can Riley stay the night here, for a sleep over? Pretty, pretty please..." Cleo asked turning his eyes into puppy dog eyes. Charles looked deep into Cleo's eyes and laughed, "Oh you know I can't say no to those eyes!" Charles ruffled Cleo's hair, "Just make sure you actually get some sleep, no pillow fights at four in the morning okay?"
Cleo jumped up and down. "Oh thank you thank you!" Cleo repeated. "I promise we'll be good!" Cleo grabbed onto Riley's hand, "You can stay!" Charles nodded, "Yup, just when William comes home, make sure you introduce your friend and Cleo..." Charles asked. Cleo turned his head around. "Yes Charles?" Cleo smiled. "You know my only rule, right?"
Cleo nodded, "Keep it above the belt." They both said simultaneously. "Well then," Cleo started up again. "Do you need to get anything from your house?"

Riley wondered why the only rule was to keep it abouve the belt. But putting his confusion aqside her said. "Yes, my pajamas and my tooth brush" Do you want to come with me to get them??" Riley then turned to Charles, "Thank-you for letting me stay" he said as politly as he could.
Turning back to Cleo he smile and said, "this will bve fun." Riley then took some time too look around. The house was really nice. He liked how homey it felt. He hoped Ken would be ok with the idea of him spending the night. "Is there anything you want me to bring with me from home??" He asked Cleo," Do I need a pillow or a blanket?"
Riley could not help but feel a twing of exitement. He had never been invited to stay over at someones house before and no one had ever accepted his invites so this sleep over wopould be his first ever. He turned to cleo and smile again" Are you coming to my place with me?"

The sweet blond giggled quietly and smiled. "Of course silly! It is my duty to go with you and make you truly can stay for a sleepover!" The bouncy teen bounded up to Charles and gave him a quick peck on the check.
"You're such a tease!" Charles laughed and waved his hands around in the air. They both laughed then Cleo slipped back on his shoes. "Just be back in half an hour. Prowlers are out at this time." The worried mother figure pointed out.
Cleo smiled again, "Don't worry! I'll just punch theirs lights out!" The teen taunted and threw a few air punches. The teen threw open the door nd took a deep breath of the night air, "Alright were off!" The blond jumped through the doorframe and landed softly on the grass. "See you back soon!" Charles called as he pushed Riley out of the house.
The blond teen gripped onto Riley's hands and began to skip down the sidewalk. "It will be nice to meet your house and see your family!" Cleo laughed without realizing he mixed his words around. "You don't have to bring blankets and such. We already have a ton of those. You just need your jim-jams and stuff like that!" The blond continued to skip, pulling Riley along as he thought to himself. Do I even have pjs? Cleo thought on this. All he ever did was wear his underware to bed. This would definitely be interesting.
Cleo looked over at Riley. They it dawned on him, "How old are you?!" He gasped and stopped right in his skipping tracks halting Riley as well. The teen laughed a bit. Riley was probably younger then Cleo, but it was the blond pestering the raven for a sleepover. "Wow....awkward silence!" Cleo shouted from the top of his lungs. "Too bad Evan isn't here!"

Riley wasn't sure how old Cleo was but he didn't really care. "I'm 18," he answered "How old are you?" As he asked this he walked out the front door. "My house is this way!"
Riley took Cleo by the hand and pulled him down the driveway. Riley was walking a fairly good pace and keeping very alert. The whole time trying not to let Cleo see how alert he really was.
"So, you have two dad, that's cool!" Riley didn't have one real dad so he found the fact that Cleo had two really interesting. As the two boys walked along the road towards his house Riley found himself humming to himself and even singing some of the words to the song that was stuck to in his head.
" Wanting to stay, needing to go, maybe you've been there, maybe you know, maybe I know that, Everything everyone ever told you is wrong, so you have to make your own mind, just question the answers and answer your call, and follow the truth that you find. And not more pretending life's always okay. Cause most happy endings are dumb anyway."
Riley suddenly noticed that he had broken into song.
"Hehe, sorry about that..." he said running his hand through his hair, "I have a habit of breaking into song. We are almost there."

The blond giggled and smiled, "I'm eighteen too! Don't really act like it though, says Sam at least!" Again the blond giggled out squeaky giggles which he seemed to have an endless supply of. "And technically I have three fathers and a mother. Since tow guys can't have a kid and smack right out it's not like William or Charles would ever get intimate with a chick!" Cleo blurted out laughing.
"Then again, you could say I have two mothers and two fathers since Charles acts pretty girly." The teen blushed awkwardly when he stated the comment about Charles for if he was there, Cleo would have gotten a good smack in the head. "But yeah, it is pretty fun! Both Charles and William think that whoever I bring home is a sexual predator!"
William and Charles had been really good to Cleo though. Always being very protective but at the same time flexible with rules. Loving, caring and watchful. It almost seemed like a too good to be true family life. "So who do you live with? Is it a strange house hold like mine? Do live with only cats? Or how both only miners? Or or! You live under water?!?" The teen shouted with excitement and started to pull Riley faster. The raven's random singing did surprise Cleo, only for a few seconds though.
"Cool! You like to sing?! I love to sing!" Cleo batted his eyelashes at sonic speeds and smiled, "But you can't here me sing now, I'm too fast!" Laughed the blond. The bubbly boy pulled Riley around corners and over street hills but soon came to a quick halt, "You know...." The blond pondered. "You should really be leading the way in all it is your house. Plus I have absolutely no idea where we're going!"
"But if we bump into any bad guys, I'll give a what ohh!" Cleo air hook punched an imaginary person and laughed, "I may not look it, but I'm tough as nails!" Cleo flexed, "Come on! Lead the way!"
